Team 3 wc 17/04/17

This week in Team 3...

In our English learning we have been innovating our class Newspaper report. The children have learnt to off by heart and are now creating their own version using all the writing features they have learnt for this genre.

In Maths we have been continuing our work on fractions. We have been learning how to recognise and show, using diagrams, equivalent fractions with small denominators. The children have been solving reasoning and problem solving challenges throughout the week and are becoming experts! :)

During our afternoon learning we have started studying our Geography objectives. The children have been learning how to read maps and being able to identify physical and human features as well. This is all in preparation for next week's Geography field trip to the Shropshire Hills, which we are all looking forward to.
