Team 4 - W/b - 26.11.18

Date: 2nd Dec 2018 @ 10:13am

Another industrious week for the lovely Team 4 (thanks for the word HT)!

We have been writing some descriptions about a scene in our class text "Gorilla" and the quality of this writing has been extremely good. We are hoping to put some of these skills to good use in our Christmas Books over the next few weeks.

In maths we have been using the handy RUCSAC acronym (Read, Underline, Calculate, Solve, Answer, Check) to solve word problems with addition. Again, the commitment and enthusiasm for learning has created a real buzz in the classroom.

In science, we investigated whether gases have any weight and we have started to work on our circus dance in PE. The performances were choreographed with real thought and we are very excited to see the final pieces.

Alongside this learning the children enjoyed adding a brick to the LEGO hospital, enjoying a Reverend Green assembly and polishing performances ready for the Christmas Performance next week.

Have a lovely weekend and we shall see you next week.
