What another busy week we have had in Team 4!

In our math’s learning this week, we have been learning how to round a range of given numbers to the nearest ten or hundred. We learnt rules to help us identify and round given numbers on sight. Alongside this, we also learnt how to identify the place value of any given four-digit number and used practical apparatus to support this. 

In our English learning, we learnt how to use prepositions, how to use apostrophes for singular ownership and also for contraction. You can support this learning at home by practising the following spellings:

In our afternoon learning, we began researching information about gorillas ready to create our own non-chronological reports next week, we continued our swimming lessons in PE and we also learnt about invertebrates in science.
