Team 5 w/b 7.1.19

Team 5 have arrived into 2019 with a bang!  Mr Thomas has been blown away by the tremendous effort and attitude that Team 5 have brought with them back into school after the Christmas holidays.

This week, we have been practising answering word problems using RUCSAC and the bar model.  We also nwrote our own version of different traditional tales, from Cinderella to Jack and the Beanstalk.  

In Guided Reading, we have read The Tin Forest and Northern Lights, looking at how the author's have created different moods through the use of words, phrases and pictures.  

In PE, we have been practising our striking and fielding skills with Mr Lawrie, and in RE we have been learning about Worship in different communities, and the Christian rite of baptism.

Next week's Mouse Mania is football on the playground.
