Reception - The last week of half term

Date: 3rd Nov 2017 @ 10:29am

We have had a very exciting week on the run up to half term. This week all of our learning enhancements have been Halloween themed. The children have had a lot of fun experimenting with pumpkins, playing silly soup with creepy spiders, skeletons and broomsticks and have really enjoyed creating Halloween head dresses.

We have started to explore shape this week. We played fun games and discussed different shapes.   We have had chance to explore these shapes through our play.

After our exciting trip to Delamere, the children loved  writing  about it. We looked at different pictures from while we were there, discussed them and talked about our favourite parts. We then wrote captions about what we were doing in the pictures. We were very impressed with the writing that took place, the children tried very hard!

We hope you have a lovely half term and  enjoy a well deserved break!
