This week in Team 2 (2.10.15)

This week in Team 2 we have been focusing on our writing. We have been changing the story we have learnt (The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch) and adding in our own ideas. Over the last couple of days the children have worked really hard on writing their stories. As a school we have been talking about handwriting and presentation and how we want to make sure our learning is always the best that it can be. Today the children really enjoyed looking back at their Year 1 books and seeing how their writing had changed, they were then able to suggest ways to make it even better! In maths we have been using our place value knowledge to add and subtract multiples of 10. In topic we have discussed what happened after The Great Fire of London and done some sketching of 17th century houses. Another great week- well done Team 2, see you next week! Mrs Holbrook :)
