This week in Team 5 we made our Anglo-Saxon houses. There was straw, cardboard, paint, glue and lollipop sticks everywhere, but every single child managed to create their own house! Next week we will be setting the houses up in the woodland area to take photographs of our villages: this will also assist the children for when we come to write non-chronological reports on an Anglo-Saxon village.

In Maths we have been looking at problem solving in relation to units of measure, with practical activities which the children enjoyed.

Towards the end of the week we had our big focus on presentation of work, (something which is a big focus throughout the entire school) signing our class contract and working on our page layout and handwriting. All of the children put an immense amount of effort into this, resulting in beautiful presentation!

Have a good weekend, see you next week!
