School Uniform

At Horn's Mill we believe that our school uniform helps us promote a sense of belonging and unity within the school. All the children at Horn’s Mill are asked to wear the following.

  • Grey or Black trousers/skirt
  • White polo shirt
  • Red sweatshirt or cardigan with the school logo
  • Red gingham dresses during the summer months
  • Black Shoes

P.E. Kit

For health and safety reasons we require children to bring a change of clothing for P.E. and games. It is helpful if a suitable bag is provided to hold these items. All clothing should be clearly marked with the child’s name. For P.E children should bring the following:

  • Plain black shorts
  • Red t-shirt with logo
  • Trainers or pumps for when PE is outside which we encourage as much as possible – weather permitting!

All school uniform, PE kit, bookbags, PE bags are available on line at www.uniformityschools.com - The uniform will be going Live on their website on 18th July 2019.

Jewellery

One pair of stud earrings and a watch may be worn. No other jewellery should be worn.  Following Local Authority guidelines, all jewellery must be removed by the child when participating in any physical education, so we encourage no jewellery at all on PE days.

Children often have no regard for where they leave their clothing so it is vital that all clothing is clearly marked with the child’s name. This will save distress for the children, yourselves and staff.
