First Week Back (4.1.16)

A happy new year to all Team 4!

We have had a very busy first week back in Team 4. This week we started learning about our new topic (Eureka Europe and the Water Cycle). We began by looking at how Europe was formed and used an atlas to create our own maps that listed every country in Europe. 

In our maths, we learnt all about the commutative method for multiplication, how to solve word problems and how to use the grid method for multiplying large numbers.

In our English learning, we began looking at our focus text 'The North Men' and started analysing the language features used by the author.

What a busy week we have had!
