Reception - 05.02.18

This week in Reception we have enjoyed watching the children apply their writing skills in child-initiated writing activities. They have described aliens, created story maps of Bob's (The Astronaut) journey to work and packed a suitcase for Bob and labelled it. We were blown away with the progress that the children have made. 

In maths, we have looked at the concept of doubling. We have played different games to practically learn about doubling. We also understand the link between doubling and halving now too!

We had a fantastic Rainbow Day! We created our family portraits and labelled them. They look fantastic! We can't wait to see them up on display! The children got really involved and it was lovely to them all dressed as bright as a rainbow.
