Reception - 05.03.18

This week in Reception we have started to look at our new story Hattie Peck, The Journey Home, following on from the excitement of the eggs arriving last week. We have watched a video of different animals that come from eggs and we have written about them. We created our very own animal hatching from an egg which helped us with our fine motor skills. We then used images of us creating them to create a set of instructions. Ask us at home how to make one! 

We have continued to observe the chicks and write about them. We cannot believe how much they have grown this week!

In maths, we have continued to work on finding the difference between two numbers. This is a very tricky skill and the adults have been amazed at how the children are working out their maths problems. Some of us have also been doubling and really getting to grips with it.
