Reception - 14.05.18

This week in Reception we have been reading a story called Nibbles. The character nibbles through different traditional tales in the story. We have thought of different ways we can develop our class text Jack and the Beanstalk using Nibbles. We changed our story together and Nibbles ended up nibbling into Jack and the Beanstalk.

In maths we have been taking part in lot's of exciting activities. We have been sharing cakes, sharing between puppets and between different objects. Some of us were ordering numbers above 20 and learning to recognise them. 

We created a Jack and the Beanstalk friendship beanstalk this week. Children wrote about different things that there friends do that are kind and that make them happy. We had lot's of lovely comments from all of the children.

We are looking forward to the sleepover tonight and hope you have a lovely weekend.
