Reception - 15.01.18

We have had a fantastic week in Reception. This week we have talked a lot about our families, using our family pictures and some stories. We learned about many different types of families and enjoyed discussing about what we like to do and where we like to go together. We created a book called 'Our Families', where each child has drawn a picture of their family and labelled the people.

In Literacy this week, we have started looking at our new class text 'Naughty Bus'. We have been applying our phonic knowledge to our writing and thought about where the Naughty Bus may go next in the story.

In Maths we have been exploring subtraction using different objects and numicon to help us understand how to take away. We have started recording our number sentences.
