Reception - WB 10.6.19

Good Afternoon,

This week we have enjoyed a very special visit to the park in Helsby with our Team 6 buddies. We walked down from school and had a morning playing with our buddies before they go off to high school. We had a lovely morning and weather even managed to stay nice and dry!

Back in school in literacy this week, we were left a mysterious frozen object and a note. It was from some very small and round green peas who had be frozen in some ice! They asked us to help set them free, so we thought of lots of different ways which we could help them! In the end after lots of dicussions we used salt, hot water and tweezers to set the peas free! We found out later in the week that the peas were from the story 'Supertato', so we have started to read this in class!
