This week we had a very special visit from the Ambulance service, who brought one of their Ambulance's to school for us to see and explore. They gave us a tour of the Ambulance and all of its features inside - we even got to lie on one of the beds!! The paramedics showed us the oxegen masks and the blue flashing lights. All the children had lots of interesting questions. The ambulance visit was part of the children's interest in Emergency Services and the people around us in our community who can help us. Hopefully we can get the fire brigade to come in soon too!
In maths we have been focusing our learning on Number bonds. The children have been finding different ways to make numbers to 0-5 and 10. Some children have been recording these too, as we begin to make a start on forming our numbers correctly ready for Year 1 in September.
Have a great weekend,
Miss Steen
