Reception - WB 16.9.19

Good Afternoon,

All the children are starting to settle much more this week and are now really familar with our classroom and all areas of school. Children are becoming super tidies up and now know where everything goes in our classroom.

This week we have introduced some more new things in school including how to get a woodland ticket at dinner time, Mousemania treat at the end of the week and our attendence chart. 

In class we have began some phonics sessions which we call Ready Steady Read. We have learnt the sounds d, t, i and n this week. We have also been playng the game 'Silly Soup' to help us recognise what sounds different items begin with e.g. net is n.
