Good Afternoon,

Last week the children showed an interest in 'planes', so this week we have based the children's themed curriculum learning on 'planes & airports'. We have been learning about how planes are built, what they are like inside and what it is like at an airport. We went plane spotting outside and created our own plane in the classroom! The children have really enjoyed this teaching and learning this week. See if you can spot the Airbus Beluga with your children outside this weekend!

This week in maths we have been learning how to add 1 more. Children have been using the Numicon pieces to show how you add one more and create a pattern. We played different games to consolidate our understanding of the pattern.
