Good Afternoon,

This week in maths we have been learning how to double numbers. Children have been using different maths equipment including counters and Numicon, to find different doubling facts. Some children moved on to reading and recording different doubling facts and playing games to remember these.

During our afternoon themed learning, we've been focusing our learning on animals from Africa. We looked at what different types of animals live in Africa and which of them you can find on a safari. We also looked at what it is like in Africa and how it is very different from where we live here in Helsby. We used Google Maps to compare the size from above.
