Reception - WB 15.11.21

Good Afternoon,

We have continued to explore our new class text 'The Three Little Pigs' this week. Reading on in the story, we found out about the different types of houses the pigs had created and then met a very scary Big Bad Wolf, who came along and tried to blow their well-built houses down. We looked at the wolf and described what he looked like using lots of new vocabulary. We created our own wolf masks and got into character as the wolf during learning time.

During RSR, we have been working hard to develop our phonics in our specific teaching groups. We've learn new sounds, learnt how to form different letters correctly and have been practicing our sound-blending skills to read simple words. Lots of children have been attempting to apply their phonic knowledge during learning time.

On Friday we all came to school in our PJs to celebrate Children in Need and finished the week with party for Mousemania.
