Hi all,
We have had another fantastic week and have really felt a real settledness from the children as a class this week. Routines are embedded further and children really beginning to understanding the reasons for our rules and staying safe. We have been into assemblies for the first time this week, including singing and Big Cheese of the Week.
During Literacy, we've had a very exciting week of mysteries. We were first left a mystery bag with lots of ingredients inside and instructions on how to make Gingerbread men, so we did. We then recieved a video of someone is our classroom, who might have dropped the ingredient off... we think it was the Gingerbread Man! We've been keeping an eye out all week and made 'Look Out' posters to ask everyone to help us. The children have been very excited and its got them very engaged in their learning.
During our afternoon curriculum learning, we have been looking at the season 'Autumn'. We went on an Autumn walk to find different signs of Autumn and collected lots of acorns, chestnuts, conkers, orange, brown and yellow leaves. We made some wonderful painting with our leaves that have gone up on display in the classroom.
Have a great weekend everyone,
Mrs Davies
