Good Afternoon,

The Christmas preparation has begun this week, as we have started to learn our songs for our Christmas show 'Santa's Hat'. We will be performing for families on Thursday 8th December and more information about costumes will be coming home next week. The children's singing is already fabulous and we can't wait for you all to see the show.

Meanwhile in the classroom, we have been focusing on team work and kindness this week. Well done to our Big Cheese this week, Vincent who showed over and above kindness and team work throughout the week. We have been making sure that during our play we are been kind to others and help our friends as much as possible. As a result we have observed children creating fabulous outdoor structures, including bridges, obstacle courses and houses all together, as well as many other small games. It has been lovely to see children's PSED skills flourish!

In maths, we have focused on the number 5 this week. We have been exploring how to recognise and represent the number 5 in different ways, using a number of different concrete resources. We've ordered numerals 1-5 and sung lots of number rhymes to 5.
