Reception - WB 24.5.21

Good Afternoon,

We've ended a very busy week with 'Crazy Hair Day' today and there were so many wonderful, creative & colourful hairstyles around school!

We've been working hard in Literacy this week, to re-tell and innovate our story 'Silly Doggy'. Children have changed different parts of the story using their own individual story maps and then have wrote a short part of the story. I have been very impressed with the writing that has been produced this week and progress that the children have made with their own writing skills - superstars!!!

During our maths sessions, children have been focusing on learning different doubling facts this week. We have been playing different games to help us automatically recall different facts. The children have been super at this and have been applying this maths learning when using the classroom environment.

Have a lovely half term break everyone and let's hope for some sunshine!!
