We have finally made it to the Easter break and the children (and staff!) are ready for a well deserved rest and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

The children have worked so hard this term and we are thrilled with the progress they have all made, We have had a great week celebrating the end of term with our very own Horn's Mill's Got Talent and an Easter Egg hunt.

In Music, we looked at beats and rhymn and listened to classical music. We used this to inspire us to create our own masterpieces, using a range of instruments. In computing, the children edited their own photographs using the Fingerpaint App. In history, we finished our topic looking at Chester Zoo. We compared what it was like to visit a long time ago versus what it is like visiting now. In geography, we finished looking at Trinidad and Tobago. We looked at their seasons, and used vocabulary such as the Equator.

We say goodbye to Miss Smith today, who has finished her teaching placement with us. We are pleased to announced that she successfully qualified as a teacher yesterday and will now be looking to take her first position in a school.

Have a great Easter holidays, we look forward to welcoming the children back on Wedneday 23rd April.
