What a lovely sunny week of learning in school!

This week in English we have been writing our innovated versions of our letter which we recieved from Little Red Hen. We completed our letters and edited them using our purple pen, to make sure we hadn't missed any punctuation and that it all made sense. On Friday we planned our own letter which we are going to write on Monday.

In maths we have started fractions this week. We have been learning how to find 1/2 of a range of shapes, objects and quantities. We have all really perceived with this this week and have collaborated together wonderfully when completing our learning activities. 

During our afternoon learning we have continued with our topic learning and have found out about the different countries which make up the UK. In science we have been learning about different parts of the plant and what role each of them  play.

I hope you all recieved the reading pack I sent home last week. Please practise the activities inside and if you have any problems getting on to Phonics Play please do come and see me.
