Team 1 - Celtic Experience
Date: 17th Nov 2017 @ 4:15pm
Hi all,
What an amazing week of learning we have had this week!
On Tuesday and Wednesday we took part in two history days where we learnt what it was like to live at Horn's Mill during the Celtic period. We all came to school wearing Celtic costumes and took part in a carousel of activities. These included making bread and rabbit stew, making shelters out of Wattle and Daub, making fire, shooting bow and arrows and digging up bones. We also designed and created our own Celtic Pendents, showing animals which were around during the Celtic period.
To follow up our two history days we then wrote a list poem to show what we had learnt and performed these poems to the class.
The children's enthuasium this week and their eagerness to want to learn and find out new things has been fantastic! Lots of 7c's being demonstrated by all children and I was so proud of them all!!
Have a lovely weekend everyone,
Miss Steen
P.S Mousemania next week is an Ice cream party. Please bring in decorations such as sauce and sprinkles.
