Team 1 - Happy Easter!

Good Afternoon,

This week has been a short, but very busy week of learning!

In English we have been editing sentences from our instruction writing, ensuring we have used the correct phonemes to spell words and applied capital letters and full stops to sentences. We have also created our own shape poems based on the season spring. Look out for these on display next term!!

In maths we have been learning to recognise and name coins and notes. We have found this very tricky this term, but have persevered and are starting to find this a lot easier. You could help your child with this at home by asking them to name coins from out of your purse/wallet (only with your permission!!!)

During our afternoon learning we have finished the Easter story in R.E and completed a comparision of a town and the countryside in Geography

I hope you all have a lovely Easter break and I will see you on Monday 16th April. Remember: Our Manchester Airport trip is the day after, Tuesday 17th April.
