Team 1 - The Wolf visits again!!

This week we had a little vistor to our classroom, who decided to leave us a parcel!! Inside the parcel was lots of clues, including some paw prints, sweets and a letter! We read the letter to find out that the Big Bad Wolf had been to visit our classroom once again, but this time he was being very nice! We thought it would be good to send him a letter back so this week in English we have started to learn how to write a letter! We have also been learning our words of the week which this week were: we, here, come, go. 

In maths we have been learning how to use the addition symbol and combine this with the equal symbol to construct a number sentence. We have been adding two different numbers up to 10 and have been using the numicon and counters to secure our understanding. As the week progressed we recorded our numbers sentences and began to complete open ended problems with a partner.

During afternoon learning, we have began rehearsals for our Nativity performance. We have been learning all of the songs and creating different actions. Children now know what part they have and next week we will be starting to run through the structure of the Nativity play with Team 2. We can't wait for you to see it!!!
