Team 1 - WB 18.9.17

Hi all,

This week in English we have had a little vistor, who decided to mess our entire classroom up and leave lots of clues! Some of these clues included a wolf's footprints, sticks and straw and a golden letter! We discussed who we thought it might be and decided we though it was the Big Bad Wolf from the story The Three Little Pigs!! So we all thought it would be a great idea to look at this story in our English lessons. Miss Steen created a story map and we began to imitate and comprehend the story as a class.

In maths we started to refresh our counting skills and practised counting a range of different concrete objects. We also began to match the numerals to the objects when counting. 

During our science lessons we have began to look at our new topic Everyday Materials. This week we went on a material hunt and spotted lots of different objects which are made from materials such as metal, wood and plastic.

P.S Mousemania next week is building dens. Children don't need to bring anything in to school.
