Team 1 - WB 19.3.18

Good evening,

This week in English we have been writing our innovated instructions using a story map. We have been making sure we're applying new punctuation such as ! and ? to our writing accuartely and using split diagraphs to spell words where needed. The children's ability to read back their writing accurately is amazing and so many children are independently editing their own work!!

In maths we have started to add numbers up to 20 by counting on. We've completed lots of pictorial problems this week applying all of our place value work up to 20.

During our afternoon learning in RE we have been reading the Easter story in sections. So far we have read about Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, all of which are important parts of the Easter Story. We can't wait to find out what happens at the end of the story next week!
