Team 1 - WB 26.6.17

This week children have been learning to write a character description of The Bog Baby during English, using a range of different adjectives. Some children started to use similies too! We have also been learning about the process of a story and its different parts using the story mountain. 

During Maths this week children have been completing a range of different activities depending on their learning group. Some children have been solving division problems by learning how to share different amounts and some children have been independently using appartus to answer addition and subtraction questions up to 20.

We have continued with our new science topic 'Animals and Humans', where we have been looking at a range of different woodland animals this week. On Friday was the finals of the poetry recital competition and everyone who took part was very brave and confident to get up on stage recite their poem. A big well done to OE who won the KS1 competition!
