Team 1 - WB 3.7.17

Good Afternoon,

I can't believe it's 2 weeks until the summer holidays - times goes too quick!!

In English this week children have been innovating the story The Bog Baby into their own version and writing their new story out. All children have been focusing on spelling and uses the sounds they have learnt in Ready Steady Read to spell words correctly. Miss Steen is so impressed so far; we are going to finish them on Monday!

During maths this week some children have been learning to recognise and use the fraction 1/4. We have also been continuing to learn different ways of turning including a full turn, quarter turn and half turn.

We have completed some SRE lessons this week where children have learnt about how and why we keep our bodies clean, what different parts of the body are called and which trusted adults we would ask for help if we ever needed it.
