Team 1 - WB 5.9.17

Welcome back everyone!!

We have had a fantastic first week as members of Team 1 and have been getting to know our new routines! We've found out our new carpet spots on our huge new animal rug, what animal table we sit at and all about the role of the helping hand each day.

We have heard all about each others summer holiday news; asking eachother questions about what we have been up to! We then did a little bit of writing and drawing about our news as our first piece of work in our new learning journeys.

This week we have also been creating our new class charter which is above our brand new touch screen whiteboard in class. We decided as a team what children and adults should do as a member of Team 1 and we are going to make sure we follow the charter all year!!

We also found out what the school council is and children told the class why they would like to be a school counciler. We all made a vote for the boy and girl we wanted to be on the school council and will find out who they are in assembly on Wednesday.

I hope you recieved your child's new home learning book on Friday. If you have any questions please do come and see me. Children's reading books and reading logs will be given out on Wednesday; we are just finishing off assessments!

P.S Mousemania next Friday is DVD and Treats. Children may bring in a 'U' rated DVD and a treat of some kind.
