Hi everyone,

Another week of busy learning!!

In English we have been writing our innovated versions of the story 'The Three Little Pigs'. We have been learning how to use finger spaces in our work, use the different sounds we know to spell words and apply capital letters and full stops to our sentences. All the stories created have been wonderful; watch out for them on our Three Little Pigs display going up over the next few weeks!

In maths we have been learning how to find 1 more and 1 less than up to 10 in a range of different activities. We have been introduced to the number line and have learnt how to move up and down it. We have also continued to practice our number formation, making sure all of our numbers are being formed the right way round. Have a practice at home!

During our Afternoon Learning we have continued our Happy Mind workshops, created, drew and applied different medias to make Three Little Pigs houses in art and began to describe the properties of a range of objects in Science. We have also focused our learning on Harvest this week; exploring its meaning and practicing our song ready for the Harvest Assesmbly on Monday. Parents are welcome to attend, its a 2pm in the Hall.
