Team 1 - Welcome back!

Welcome back everyone! 

We've had a great and very lively first week back in school.

In English we have been sharing our Christmas news, finding out what each other have done over Chistmas and what presents we recieved. We completed some writing on this in our learning journeys and read our news out aloud to our friends. We have also been focusing on some spellings this week including days of the week and the suffix -s.

In maths we have been learning how to find number bonds to 10. We used the Numicon to support our understanding of finding 2 numbers which make 10 and later used the base 10 grids to help us learn how to find number bonds in a systamatic order. We completed lots of different star challlenges on this including applying our knowledge to solve problems.

During our afternoon learning, we have started our new topic 'Tremendous Toys' and continued with our science work on the human body.
