Team 1 Wb 1.7.19

This week Team 1 started their week with a science investigation. As part of our introductory work on forces, we investigated how long it would take a car to go down a ramp covered in different materials. We predicted, estimated and tested to gather our results. In Geography this week we have been looking at the features of the seaside and learning to use vocabulary such as cliff, pier, prommenade etc. 

In English, we have been reading more of our text 'Toys in Space', creating our own space aliens and writing descriptions of them. In maths we have been busy developing our understanding of two digit numbers, by looking and how many tens and ones are in a given number and then comparing two numbers. 

Well done Team 1, for another great week, I can't believe there's only just over two weeks left of this year!
