This week we designed and created our own African animal masks, we had giraffes, lion and zebras! They were incredible. The children really impressed us with their resilience as they had to complete each stage by themselves.

In English we had a focus on spelling and handwriting. We sounded out ea/ ee/ y words. We looked at when to use “f” and when to use “th”. We looked at using the –ed suffix (even though sometimes it sounds like a “t”) like in “jumped”.

Finally, we had a fantastic Friday where we baked lots of beautiful cakes. Me and Mrs Thomas loved how well the children got on with this. We felt very redundant!
