Happy weekend, Team 1!

This week we began to read our new class text, ‘Nibbles the Book Monster’ by

Emma Yarlett. We discovered that some things in our classroom had been

nibbled by someone (or something)!  We wrote a list of things which had been

nibbled so that Mrs Wyatt could look into it. The next day, someone had

nibbled through some books in our classroom. We had to write the titles of the

books which had been nibbled off. Nibbles the book monster was responsible

for all of this mayhem, and he even nibbled his way into Goldilocks and the

Three Bears!

In maths, we have continued learning about addition using more abstract methods.

In science, we went for a walk and found some signs of winter: frosty leaves, frozen grass, people wearing coats, and trees with no leaves.

Next week, we are looking forward to our maths day on Monday, and discovering more mischief from Nibbles.
