Team 1 WB 10th Feb

A very busy end to the first half term of spring. The children have worked their little socks off writing their end of literacy units big write. We are absolutely thrilled with their stories and have been blown away by the progress they have made. They are really showing us what super writers they are. 

In maths, we have been recapping on some key areas and concepts before we move on to numbers up to 40 after half term. Perhaps the children can practise counting up to 40 at home in preparation?

Elsewhere, we have said goodbye to 2 special people this week. The first is to J who leaves us because she is relocating elsewhere. We wish her the very best at her new school and know she will make lots of new friends. We were also sad to see Miss Randles leave as her teaching practice has come to an end. She will start another placement at a different school next month. We will miss them both. 

PE kits were sent home. Please check that everything still fits (including footwear) as they are having little growth spurts and bring them back the first week. 

Have a great half term and we look forward to welcoming the children back on Monday 24th February. Over the holiday, please continue to read with your child, other than that- have fun!!!!
