Team 1 Wb 11.11.19

Team 1 have been very busy this week! We have started reading our new class text 'Nibbles', and we are loving finding out how he has nibbled into different stories, causing mischief and mayhem! We have been writing sentences explaining how the characters are feeling, using the word 'and' to join two words in a sentence. 

In maths, we have been learning about addition, and the meaning of the equals sign. We have been using one calcaulation to find 4 related addition facts. We have also been solving addition questions using practical resources and have been playing games to learn our number bonds to 10. 

In the afternoons we have been busy singing and dancing, getting ready for our Christmas production!

On Friday, we learned about how there may be different ways to do the same thing, and how it is ok to be different. We read the story 'That's not how you do it!' and made different stars to put together on a picture. We celebrated how all our stars were different and how difference is a positive thing. 

Well done Team 1, for another great week.
