Team 1 wb 1.11.21

It is the end of another busy week in Team 1. We have been writing lists of items we would take to the South Pole in English this week. We have also written some beautiful descriptive sentences about the wild, angry waves we might experience on the journey.

We have begun writing in our maths books this week, practising the appropriate presentation and number formation.

In Science, we took our learning outdoors to classify and sort items made of different everyday materials.

We have learnt about how to keep ourselves safe around bonfires and fireworks this week. I wonder if the children can remember any of the important advice. We used our new knowledge for our own bonfire in Mouse Mania. We lit a fire, toasted marshmallows and sandwiched them between chocolate biscuits to make s’mores. Delicious!
