Another wonderful week has been had in Team 1.

In English we have been innovating our story ‘Lost and Found’ by replacing the penguin with another animal. We began re-writing the story using a story map to help us. First we act out the sentence using actions and signs for capital letters and full stops. Then we write each sentence. We will continue this next week and hopefully reach the end of our adventure stories.

In maths we have been adding 2 numbers within 10, which leads on from our work on splitting numbers into 2 parts. We have been looking at the addition and equals symbols and their meanings.

We have loved having a special day for Children in Need today. We began with a workout online with Joe Wicks, including a quiz! For Mouse Mania, we met our Team 6 buddies to watch a film, snuggled up in our pyjamas.
