Team 1 WB 16th Dec

Date: 19th Dec 2024 @ 4:56pm

We have finally made it to the end of autumn term and what a fabulous term it has been. We are delighted with the progress that the children have made, both academically and socially. They are becoming much more independent and we as so proud of each and every one of them. They are all very excited about Christmas and their visit from 'the big man'. They will all be on the good list!

This week has been another busy week. In addition to the usual learning that takes place, they have enjoyed a chocolate nativity, a delicious school Christmas dinner and a surprise visit from Santa this morning. Santa was kind enough to take time out of his busy schedule to read us a story and give us a treat. This afternoon, we had our class party with party games and dancing. We also had a special visitor (Luigi). Tomorrow, we will enjoy a Christmas book viewing and then Christmas crafts and fun time in our classroom.

Your child will come home with the Christmas book that they have completed tomorrow. We hope that you enjoy sharing them as they have put lots of effort into making them. They will also come home with a new reading book so they can keep the reading up over Christmas. They may have changed book band colour and moved up a band. If this is the case - well done!

Thank you for the cards and gifts which you have given. It is very thoughtful and generous of you. Have a wonderful festive period with your friends and families. We look forward to welcoming the children back on 6th January.

Kind regards,

Team 1
