What a busy one this week has been!

For English this week, we have been learning about nouns and verbs. The children have done amazingly well with this and they finished by creating sentences about what they saw on their way to school.

In maths this week, we have been learning lots of new vocabulary including increase, decrease, altogether and in total. We have also been investigating number patterns and learning how to describe the pattern to others, using our new terminology.

During our afternoon learning, we have been looking at positional language in Geography and accurately grouping animals in Science.

The highlight of our week was a visit from two parents who supported our history learning. We had a fantastic time as we were able to pretend we were on a flight to Africa! We were served biscuits and juice and even got to play some games. A huge thank you to our lovely guests!

We hope the children have shared lots of news with you this week.
