Team 1 Wb 23.9.19
Date: 28th Sep 2019 @ 4:20pm
Team 1 have had a very busy week this week, and the children have participated with enthusiasm, showing wonderful commitment to their learning. What a great week Team 1!
We have been writing sentences about an animal of our choice, linked to our Lost and Found text, using our science learning to include words such as herbivore and mammal! Another animal focus this week has been our reading and research about penguins, and on Friday we wrote some wonderful facts to show what we had learned.
In maths, we have been counting on and back, representing the numbers in different ways and completing missing numbers in number sequences.
In geography, we started to learn about cold areas of the world and animals that live there. In RE we continued to learn about Christian beliefs about Jesus. and we started to discuss different devices and how we use the internet in E-safety.
On Thursday, Team 1 enjoyed a morning of French, with lots of games and activities! Miss Thomas and I were really impressed with what the class had remembered from their learning in Reception- we were able to say 'hello', 'my name is' and count to 15! We had a great time singing and listening to different French songs too!
Well done Team 1, for a fantastic week!
See you all on Monday,
Mrs Holbrook :)
