Team 1 Wb 24.9.18

We've had another busy week in Team 1! This week we have been starting our French learning for the year by taking part in our whole-school languages week. We have been practising our French- including greetings, numbers and French songs. We have also been using information books to find out about France, label maps and write facts together as a class. Some of us have even chosen to carry this on themselves during activities time!

In English, we have been reading the start of our text and helping one of the characters by matching mixed up labels and writing new labels to go with pictures of animals. In maths, we have been representing numbers in different ways and practising our counting. 

On Friday Team 1 read the story 'My Grandpa is Amazing', as part of our 'No Outsiders' lessons and talked about how people of different ages can do amazing things. We then did some great writing to  go with some pictures!

It was lovely to see some of our families this week at our information sessions, I hope they were useful. If you have any questions about your child's learning this year, please do come and ask.
