Our week has been full of Christmas fun. We have spent hours preparing our songs, actions and acting for our nativity performance. On Friday, we performed a dress rehearsal to the rest of the school, and we are sure that our families are going to love coming to see it on Tuesday. We are so proud of how hard the children have worked on it.

In English, we have been writing diary entries in the first person narrative and are continuing to read through our story, Nibbles the Book Monster, making predictions as we go. We have written instructions for our friends to stop Nibbles from nibbling our books.

In Maths, we have begun a unit on subtraction, learning the meaning of the subtraction/minus/take away symbol, and all the words we might use for that operation.

In MyHappyMind, we have begun our relationship curriculum but discussing our families. We celebrated the differences in our families, and how no two families are the same. We drew ourselves, and the members of our family around us.

For our Mouse Mania this week, we decorated our classroom to make it look festive. We made some baubles to decorate the tree!
