It has been wonderful being back in the classroom this week to see the children. They have had a super last week of term. The children finished writing their pieces of work based on The Lion Inside, and the results are superb.

In maths we completed our unit on addition and subtraction. In RE we have been exploring the way Christians use symbols in churches, and made our own symbols to represent us. We also looked at the Easter story to discover the meanings of the symbols found at Easter time and what they mean to Christians.

We were amazed by the talents on show in ‘Horn’s Mill’s Got Talent’ this week, and we loved watching the final on Thursday presented by our very own ‘Ant and Dec’.

For Mouse Mania this week, we enjoyed an Easter-themed movie, followed by an Easter egg hunt in the woodlands.
