Team 1 have been busy this week, reading the end of our class text 'Lost and Found' by Oliver Jeffers. We have loved hearing about the adventure of the boy and the penguin, and sharing in their excitement, loneliness and eventual happiness as they went on their journey to the South Pole! We have been writing lists of things we would need to pack to take with us on the journey, as well as designing and making sandwiches to take on the trip. Of course we had to test them out too! 

In maths we have been focusing on finding the number one more than a given number and representing these in different ways, as well as practising our number formation, counting on and counting back. We have been learning how to spot and explain if a sequence of numbers is counting forwards or backwards. 

We had a great time on Friday afternoon, finishing our week with some musical bumps and musical statues during our Mouse Mania time!
