Team 1 - WB 3rd March
Date: 7th Mar 2025 @ 4:11pm
This week we have celebrated World Book week. Thank you for all the effort you made with your children, they looked fabulous and they really enjoyed it. We have posted a photograph of the class on X for you to look at. The children came home with their book tokens today. Search their book bags or reading diaries for them. This token entitles your child to a free book from the list. Please use them and enjoy these books with your children.
In Maths, we have been comparing numbers and identifying which is the greater and smaller number. This can be practised at home with your children. See if they can identify the greater/smaller number. Can they order 3 numbers from smallest to greatest or greatest to smallest? We are working with numbers up to 40 at the moment.
In English, we have carried on looking at regular past tense verbs (ed endings). We have worked hard to incorparate this into writing and our speech. We are quite brilliant at turning present tense into past tense!
In RE, we continued to celebrate our differences and this week we have thought about the word 'RESPECT' and what that means. Check out our Respect Rap video on X.
We have had a Dog Safety assembly led by Mrs Jobber. She talked to the children about keeping safe around dogs and shared the do's and don'ts.
It is the Holi Colour Run next Friday afternoon (14th). A message has gone out about this on School Spider. Please ensure you child has old clothes and a light colour top which you do not mind getting paint on.
Have a great weekend.
