Team 1 made a wonderful start to this school year this week! I was so impressed by their kindness, lovely manners and enthusiasm for their learning. It was a pleasure to teach them and start to get to know them. Miss Thomas and I are certainly very excited for the rest of the year!

This week in Team 1, we started off with an 'under the sea' theme to link in with our new reading corner. We based lots of our activities on the book 'You Be You' which we read and discussed together on Wednesday. We discussed how we are all different, and all have something special about us. We discussed and wrote these things down, as well as working together to paint some fish in the style of the illustrations. We have taken part in lots of under the sea activities linked to our maths, phonics, reading and creative play. 

Well done Team 1, for an amazing start to the year!
